The project was well done and it gives out potential impact to the students.

• What did not work so well?

Just that the students were not able to create more articles but experienced editors.

• What would you do differently next time?

I applied for another grant and this is the URL : Grants:Project/Rapid/Umar-askira/Eidit-a-thon at Gusau Institute Of Technology Kaduna - Meta (wikimedia.org) with this applied project, I am going to implement more potential impacts because I got experiences from this project I am giving report on now. The students were able to teach their course-mates Wikipedia activities.

Grant funds spent

Please describe how much grant money you spent for approved expenses, and tell us what you spent it on.

• Cofee and Snacks - For each participant = It was omitted due to food inflation but I added it to the food and drinks.

• Food and Drinks - For each participant = $15 x 30 (participants) x 2 = $450 USD for two days

• Computer Lab- $150 x 2 = $300 USD for two days (I god deduction $70 of price the computer lab because it is our institute)

• Use of internet - $195 x 2 = $380 USD for two days (I added the remaining $70 to the use of internet because the computers used Windows 10 they consume more internet data)

• T-shirts - for each facilitator = $13 x 10 (facilitators) = $130

• Transport - $4 x 30 (participants) x 2 = $240 USD

• Banner and Tags - $252 USD (I got deduction of $13 from banner printing press because I designed it myself)

• TOTAL USD SPENT : $1972 USD

• I requested for the founds at rate of $1 USD = N411. But I received the founds when the USD rate was $1 = N410 the goods inflated also.

• And N410 x $1985 = 813835 NGN instead of 815835 NGN.

• TOTAL NGN Spent  : N813835 NGN

Remaining funds

Remaining funds have been used or will be used for other approved mission-aligned activities. This use has been requested in writing and approved by WMF.

Yes! it's $13. I will like to use to buy a book which will be very helpful. titled (Hausa to English to Arabic Dictionary) which will help me to flexibly plan for my next project i.e Edit https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Project/Rapid/Umar-askira/Eidit-a-thon_at_Gusau_Institute_Of_Technology_Kaduna. Because participants will easily be able to analyze words from English to Hausa especially for those that don't understand fluent Hausa Language, it will help them

Anything else

Anything else you want to share about your project? Actually It is so delightful and great to as I caried out this project as first start. This project has became great impact to my students because it brings out good and great result to Notion Computer Technology especially to those students that participate in the event. NCT is an institute for enhancing Information Technology with hundreds population of students. I will love to apply for another project to invite others from different departments to give subsequent workshops if possible after every two months. I will also wish to create a user group “Notion Wikimedians User Groups” to add more users and keep giving the tutorial with more information on Wikipedia projects or movement. Some students feel somehow because they were not selected to participate to the workshop. I will love Wikimedia foundation to consider this condition to be approving my grant application. Lastly, I will like to dropdown my couple of gratitude to Wikipedia foundation and rapid grant for considering my grant proposal with all experienced editor and the participants that standstill to see this project succeeded.
