Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
  1. Our contribution being recognized with United Nations Human Rights
  2. Many participants showed up
  3. There were good number of Women participants
  4. Group work methodology seemed to work fine
  5. There was good weather condition
  6. We had good number of newcomers
  7. Participants were cooperative
  8. Preparation of list of articles before the events worked better
  9. The chosen topic (Human Rights topics especially those related to UN and SDG’s) seemed interesting to many
  • What did not work so well?
  1. The articles we dealt with needed a lot of time to get the exact Swahili translation.
  2. Lack of devices such enough laptops to some members slowed down the efficiency
  3. It was not possible to translate the entire long articles, rather few paragraphs
  • What would you do differently next time?
  1. Try hard emphasize participants to make their best to come with working devices.
  2. Finding topics that most people get interested with to get maximum results
