Goals[edit]
Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? We had dreamed big and despite the heavy work, we are satisfied with the objectives largely achieved :
- 1256 photos were uploaded by 56 participants
- 2 training sessions for photographers were held in Douala
- The awareness campaign in Yaoundé has mobilized the public to participate: 2 meetings took place at the Goethe Institute in Yaoundé
- Participants and jury members each received 1 T-shirt and a pen at the awards ceremony
- Media participation in the press conference and vernissage increased the visibility of projects organized in Cameroon and the User Group
- The Orange Foundation was present at the awards ceremony and is in favor of working together
- The exhibition of the 15 best Cameroonian photos was displayed for 2 weeks in the room of our partner ActivSpaces for the visits

Learning[edit]
Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- The mobilization of photographers during the 2 sessions of Workshop
- The commitment of participants motivated by the desire to win a prize
- The media coverage gave more visibility to the User Group's contest and activities: Several articles were written (Press and internet) and a TV report broadcast :
(Cameroonian blog; www.icicameroun.com; www.auletch.com; www.camernews.com; Press article; Cameroon national daily; www.auletch.com)
- The exhibition that took 2 weeks has had an impact on the public : The Goethe Institut and the Institut français are favorable for an exhibition in their institutions
- Potential partnership will be forged with the Orange Foundation in future projects
- Awareness-raising in Yaoundé allowed the participation of several photographers and amateurs
- What did not work so well?
- Bad internet connection for sending photos
- What would you do differently next time?
- Have a good internet connection
