Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in Funtua
Between 2019 to the end of 2021 Hausa Wikipedia got more articles and articles viewers according to Wikimedia Statics. So I searched for some articles that Hausas prefer to read on Hausa Wikipedia. These articles are related with Hausa culture and religion. Examples of these articles include the history of the Northern Nigerian Emirs and Political Leaders of the First Republic of Nigeria and the military leaders of Nigeria, and the Kannywood film stars. Then the history of Hausa cities and Hausa empires. There are also articles on Islam which is the main religion of the Hausa people, especially articles related to the history of the Fulani Kingdom of Sokoto. This project will provide quality articles that Hausa Wikipedia viewers prefer to read.
