Option 1: Shared Experience: What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?

I've written my global report at User:Krenair/Wikimania 2017 and have been sharing links to it around various chats.

Connections

Despite having attended several Wikimedia events in the past, I continue to meet people for the first time in person that I've spoken to over the internet a lot and have never met, e.g. this time Petr Bena. I also met a lot of my former colleagues which was nice, as well as through helping a few newcomers (e.g. on the hackathon help desk). Wikimedia is full of good people and I have come away feeling a lot more positive than before, though sad it's over. For more details see the report above.
