Option 1: Shared Experience:

I talked about the possibility of getting Wikimania to Estonia (plan for 2017). Learned what mistakes and success stories have been there in past, what kind of details are more important, etc. Organizing Wikimania is not something, that could be done very easily. So I want to really sure, that if I'll put up a bid for Estonia, then it will definitely win.

Connections

Examples: I promoted Minority Translate project, had some grant discussions, participated in several meetups and find out more about the projects that are carried out in different parts of the globe.
