Outcome[edit]

Option 1: Shared Experience: What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?
  1. We exchanged emails after the event specifically about the Google+Wikipedia project. We also had many online meetings afterwards.
Option 3: New Creation: What was one useful outcome that was created at the event for the Wikimedia movement?
Add a link to something new that was created as a result of your participation in this event (for example, you might link to a new tool that you and your co-participants worked on at the Hackathon, or to pages created in a workshop you participated in).
  1. Started participating in the the Google+Wikipedia project. This one has a lot of potential to attract many volunteers.

Connections[edit]

  1. Worked closely with several Wikimedians and gave three presentations in collaboration with the WMF research team and other amazing Wikimedians (1, 2, and 3).
  2. Participated in the Google+Wikipedia project and attended the meeting at Wikimania.
  3. Attended post-con Civil Servant Summit as a liaison for the Arabic Community in their research project.
  4. Was invited to and attended WikiGap reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Anything else[edit]

  1. Gave an interview about VideoWiki to Pratik Shetty.
  2. Gave an interview to Wiki Podcast.
  3. Co-created a poster about our Wiki activities in Egypt.
