- This project aims to improve the reliability of Hausa Wikipedia by adding high-quality references to existing articles and creating well-sourced new content. Through training sessions and community engagement, librarians, researchers, and volunteers will learn how to contribute citations, ensuring that Hausa cultural and historical knowledge is backed by credible sources. This initiative will enhance the accuracy of Hausa Wikipedia, making it a more trustworthy and valuable resource.

- It is two days of training and editathon
2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.
- I have let them know about the proposal by sharing the link on Whatsapp group and by reaching out to some Hausa Wikipedia administrators like Gwanki, A Sulaiman Z and Mahuta.
3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.
- I will let them know about the proposal by communicating with them through the communication process.

- Yes participants have the equipment and skills which will help them to participate and contribute a high quality and sourced content.
7. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- I will engage them by creating a WhatsApp group.
8. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?
- This project is crucial for the growth of Hausa Wikipedia, as many articles currently lack proper citations, reducing their credibility. By engaging librarians, researchers, and local contributors, we will not only add reliable references but also build a sustainable culture of citation and fact-checking within the Hausa Wikipedia community.

I will use WMF outreach dashboard to track each metric.

What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense as a unit amount and include a total amount.
- Events' hall = N40,000×2=80,000.
- Events' banner = N15,000.
- Projector rental:N10,000
- Tags and flyers: N15,0000.
- Branded Tshirts for the organizer and Facilitator: N7,000×2=14,000
- Food and refreshments to the participants and Facilitators = N2,000×22=N44,000 × 2 (for two days) = N88,000.
- Contingency = 20,000.
Total amount = 242,000.
