- This project aims to introduce English Wikibooks to the students and educators in Jigawa State for the first time. Through hands-on training and content creation sessions, participants will learn how to contribute to open educational resources, documentation of local recipes and traditional foods. Participants will be trained to contribute to the food-related content on Wikibooks Cookbook, showcasing Jigawa’s rich culinary heritage. The goal is to preserve local knowledge, improve digital skills, and make Jigawa’s cuisine accessible to a global audience.

- Yes they have smartphones.

- They will be follow-up through our WhatsApp group.
7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?
- Yes, this is the first initiative of its kind in Jigawa State, and we believe it will pave the way for future Wikimedia-related activities in the region. We are excited to contribute local food knowledge to Wikibooks and to empower new editors with lasting digital skills.

- I'm (A Sulaiman Z) the organizer of the project and will oversee all planning, logistics, and reporting. I will also lead the training sessions and ensure the project's successful implementation.
Ibrahim Sani Mustapha will serve as a facilitator, assisting participants during the practical sessions, guiding them in contributing to Wikibooks, and providing technical support where needed.
What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense as a unit amount and include a total amount.
- Event hall for two days = N50,000×2=N100,000.
- Event banner: N20,000.
- Projector rental: N20,000.
- Branded T-shirts for the organizer and facilitator: N20,000.
- Transport and accommodation of organizer and facilitator = N50,000.
- Food and refreshments for participants and facilitators =2,500 × 27=N67,500 × 2dys =N135,000.
- Contingency: ₦20,000.
