From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Project summary

[edit]

Briefly summarize your project proposal.

Christmas carol/songs holds a special place in Igbo tradition especially during the Holiday season when communities come together to celebrate. This project will focus on documenting/adding labels and Igbo description of Christmas songs on Wikidata. This initiative will fill the gap of Igbo description on Wikidata. The aim of this project is to improve/enhance visibility of Christmas Songs in Igbo language on Wikidata. This will help in promoting Igbo cultural heritage and make it accessible to the global audience. In this project, participants will be trained on how to contribute to wikidata and also learn the wikidata properties for Songs.
