Briefly summarize your project proposal. The essence of the Wikipedia Hausa Women Edit-a-thon project is to improve the presence of notable Hausa Women on Wikipedia Hausa language, creating new all in Hausa language.

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:

1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings? I plan to do this project for two days, I will invite existing editors and order people to teach them how to create and improve articles of women

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings. Through social media platform; Whatsapp and Facebook

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)
For example: User:Kaizenify Yes I have user:Sauderh2 and user:jidderh are all experience editors therefore, they will help in carrying out this project.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them? Yes most participants are experience while others will need guidance and training.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)? participants will be engaged through mentorship and guidance on how they keep editing till become experience editors.

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project? This project is a solution to the constant lost of women editors in Hausa projects as they are going to be guided and supported to actively participate and this will help increase women participation and inclusivity to Wikimedia projects as well as motivate other local women to contributing to open source projects.

Resources

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding). The team comprised of several concerns individuals and volunteers who have organized events related to gender equality or are disturbed by the way the females are not well represented in educational movements. Some of which are: 1. Community Lead: Jidda3711, she is one of the best figures in ensuring females are recruiting in the Wikimedia communities. She have introduced Wikimedia to various women organizations like the "Jam'iyyar Matan Arewa (JMA), Taskar Nasaba, and Badarawa Women Development Center". She have attended several trainings and have a great experience in given time to gender solutions. She is feminist advocate at all education levels specifically in Northern Nigeria were female education is affected by religion and norms.   • Local Transport(for the participants and organizers will arrangements for the event for 2 days=65,000
  • Training Hall and projector for 2 days = 60,000
  • Customized Wikipedia shirts 3 and pens and jotters=40,000
