Briefly summarize your project proposal. This project aims to contribute to "Wiki Loves Africa 2026" on behalf of the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria, with a focus on this year’s theme, "Rite and Ritual." I will be touring agricultural sites in Ebonyi and Cross River State, capturing photos that highlight the connection between local rite and rituals of Africa culture. These images will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons to help showcase the rich cultural heritage and sustainable practices in the region.

I have engaged in communication with the Wikimedia Nigeria Community talk group regarding the project.

For example: User:Kaizenify I'm an experienced documentary photographer, I take pride in my contribution of thousands of high-quality images to Wikimedia Commons. I am embarking on this campaign independently. I will also be recruiting a new photographer.

Yes we have all the necessary equipment and skills required for this tour.

The main objective of the Wiki Loves Africa 2026 project is to promote the expansion of free knowledge by collecting and sharing high quality images that capture the theme “Rite and Ritual.” This initiative aims to document and highlight the diverse ceremonial practices, traditions, and cultural expressions across Africa. Through these images, the project seeks to enrich Wikimedia Commons and increase global awareness of Africa’s living traditions, cultural identity, and heritage

I'll upload all pictures to the dedicated group named "WLA2026 Nigeria." This facilitates Wikimedia Commons in monitoring the number of uploaded pictures. I'll utilize the outreach dashboard to track participant involvement, helping me gauge the project's progress and refine my outreach efforts accordingly.

I am a professional Photographer, I have all the needed experiences and equipment needed for the success of the project.
