Project summary
[edit]Briefly summarize your project proposal.
- The aim of this project is to increase awareness and understanding of the importance health related articles would serve among the Hausa-speaking community. We believe speakers of this language who are mostly living in rural and urban settlements lack the basic knowledge and awareness about health related topics. We aim to address this challenges and many others like limited access to health information, health facilities, diseases, and medications in the Hausa language, as well as a lack of representation of these topics on the Hausa Wikipedia.
By empowering editors with the necessary skills and knowledge, we aim to foster the creation of high-quality content in Hausa language related to healths, thus promoting greater awareness and understanding within the Hausa-speaking community.
