Women in governance occupy a smaller percentage globally and many societies lack proper understanding/ awareness of the importance of women involvement in governance, therefore this project is set to bridge that gap and restore the confidence needed for proper enlightenment.
Expanding Knowledge on Women in Governance is about helping more women understand that they have the right, the ability and the opportunity to take part in leadership and decision-making in the society. This topic will help to promote gender equality by reducing cultural barriers like patriarchy, gender stereotypes and discrimination that hinders women in political participation.

Furthermore, It can act as an eye opener to women to partner with NGOs, government and international organizations to build collective strength and also create platforms where women can connect, organize workshops, conduct and document research and seek mentorship programs.

I will do a one day training and organize one editathon

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

I have informed the community about the project on the community WhatsApp channel.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Yes, the participants have their phones and laptops, and with that they can easily contribute.

The participants will be engaged through our social media handle, follow up or feedback even after the training.

3 points for articles improved.
