The Wiki-Niger Delta loves Monuments campaign aimed to help show case and document monuments across the Niger Delta region,

We commenced the campaign by  building the capacity of the network members on how to edit and upload photos using Wiki commons

Feedback: most participants described it as engaging and educating especially the Licensing of photos

Challenges : most people experienced blocks on either, while others did not have accounts , secondly we operated with a Tinny budget for the huge logistics needed for the 4 locations , our cameras were seized in some locations

Lessons : Do a smaller event then scale up depending on the budget .

Do a proper risk assessment on the areas before embarking on a project to ensure safety of the project team and properties
