- This project aims to contribute to the Wiki Loves Africa 2025 contest by capturing high-quality images that showcase the rich farming and food traditions of Bauchi State, Nigeria. Following this year’s theme, From Farm to Plate, the project will focus on documenting the entire food production process, from farming to food preparation and consumption in Bauchi’s cultural context.

1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?
- This project consists of a series of photowalks followed by a single training session and upload event.
- Three days of photowalks in Bauchi, led by User:Smshika and Hauwa’u Lawal Ardo, to capture images related to farming and food culture in Bauchi.
- One-day physical meetup where participants will be trained on how to upload pictures to Wikimedia Commons and will also contribute by uploading the captured images.
2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.
- I will share via WhatsApp group for Wikimedia community where I belong to
3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.
- I will let them know via WhatsApp groups and through phone calls
4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)

- We will hire a Cameras for taking the pictures and the participants have Devices for uploading the images.
6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- I will add the participants via our active WhatsApp group
