Project summary

[edit]

Briefly summarize your project proposal.

Documenting Nigeria's National Population Census data, especially at the level of States and Local Government Areas (LGAs), on Wikidata holds significant value for a number of reasons such as; Enhances Research and Academic Work, Improves Data Interoperability, Supports Effective Resource Allocation and Development Planning and contributes to National and International Data repositories. This documenting will promote transparency, support academic research, enhance policy decisions, and facilitate better planning for future development. With Nigeria's dynamic and diverse population, having such data easily accessible online fosters informed decision-making, civic engagement, and better management of national resources.
