- This project aims to educate participants on effective Wikipedia contributions, emphasizing the importance of understanding Wikipedia's reliability. Through a series of workshops and discussions, participants will gain valuable insights into the editing processes and citation standards on Wikipedia. The program will focus on teaching participants how to critically evaluate Wikipedia content and responsibly contribute to its accuracy. By the end of the project, participants will be well-equipped to make informed contributions, ensuring that the information on Wikipedia remains reliable and accurate.

1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?
- I will carry out a project by hosting a one-day workshop where I will teach the participants how to contribute to Wikipedia.
2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.
- I will inform the relevant communities via the Hausa Wikipedia Community and Kano Wikimedians Community WhatsApp groups.
3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.
- The participants will be informed through the University's Students WhatsApp groups, and I will also notify some of them in person at the school premises.
4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)

- I will create a WhatsApp group for the Wikimedia Community to keep participants engaged after the event.

- I User:Usmanmaifada O will the events, I'm project's lead. User:M Bash Ne is the experience Wikimedian and he has organised many Wikimedia events. He will be the facilitator as trainer.
