This project aims to document and improve content about the festivals and cultural heritage of Katsina State on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. Many traditional festivals, cultural practices, and heritage sites in Katsina are not well represented online. Through this project, members of the Katsina Network of the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria will work together to research, write, and upload information, images, and media related to these cultural activities.

The project will help preserve and promote the rich cultural traditions of Katsina State while increasing local participation in Wikimedia projects.
