Wiki Loves Africa 2026 in Yobe State aims to engage local communities in documenting and sharing media that showcases African culture, heritage, and lived experiences through the annual Wikimedia Commons photo contest. The project will organize photography workshops, contests, and outreach activities to increase African content on Wikimedia Commons, promoting digital literacy and cultural preservation in Yobe State.
