Wiki Loves Africa 2026: Rites and Rituals in the Hausa Community seeks to document and showcase the rich cultural traditions of the Hausa people by capturing rites, ceremonies, and cultural practices through photography, video. The project will engage and train community members to contribute quality Image, Video and knowledge to Wikimedia projects, helping preserve and promote Hausa cultural heritage. The program will conclude with a contest, where participants submit their Images, videos entries, and outstanding contributions will be recognized and rewarded to encourage continued participation in documenting African culture.

I will share via General Hausa Community WhatsApp Group

For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.
We will utilize our Community WhatsApp group for that

Yes they will use devices mostly Phone and Laptops

We already have a WhatsApp group of Hausa Community, I will continue engaging them before and after the event
