Project summary

[edit]

Briefly summarize your project proposal.

  • The Wiki Loves African Women in Politics aims to address the underrepresentation of African women in politics on Wikipedia. We will organize edit-a-thons and training to create and improve articles about notable female politicians in Africa, covering their achievements, policies, and impact. The project will also establish a community of editors focused on African women's political content, improving existing articles, adding references, and identifying new topics to create. The goal is to enhance the visibility and recognition of African women's contributions to politics, promoting diversity and inclusion on Wikipedia and inspiring future generations of female leaders.
