  • This project aims to capture the natural and historical beauty of the region, contributing to the global repository of free-to-use media on Wikimedia Commons. Enthusiasts and photographers will have the opportunity to explore and document the rich cultural and historical heritage of Daura and its surrounding areas.

Emir's Palace, Kusugu Well, Daura Museum, Kusugu Lake, Hausa Traditional Houses, Bakin Kogi River, Durbi Takusheyi Mani, Kusada Dam, Border Crossing at Kongolam (Nigeria-Niger Border), Zango Market, Baure Market, Daura Central Mosque, Mai Adua Cattle and Goats Market and others.

For 2 days photo tour and one day training on how to uploads photo on Commons, total 3 days

I will share on WhatsApp Group and Hausa Wikipedia Discussing page

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

I will let them know through WhatsApp groupa and phone calls

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)

I have all the needed equipment and skills needed for the tour and uploaded, like, Camera, projector, and etc

1 Venue (for a day training uploaded photos) = ₦40,000

2 Food and drinks (for 3 days x 3 people) = ₦7,000 x 3 days x 3 persons = ₦21,000

3 Data for facilitators = ₦8,000 x 3 = ₦24,000

4 Transport and accommodation for 2 organisers (inter-city to common gathering place and back home at the end of event) = ₦30,000 x 2 = ₦60,000 for 3 days 180,000

5 Photowalk movements (2 days) = ₦10,000 x 2 days for 3 people = ₦60,000

6 T-Shirt = ₦5,000 × 3 = 15,000

7 Camera hiring rental = ₦14,000 x 2 camera × 2days = ₦28,000

8 Contiguous = ₦20:000

Total = ₦337,000
