As an MSc(Master's student); Department of Political science, Enugu State University.This project focuses on documenting all Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Nigeria and linking them correctly to their respective Senatorial Districts, States, and geopolitical zones on Wikidata. This project will help fill critical gaps in Nigeria’s political geography, promote civic education, and support free, factual knowledge for journalists, researchers, students, and the general public.
Key Objectives:
1.Create or improve Wikidata articles and Wikidata items for all LGAs.
2.Map each LGA to its correct Senatorial District, State, and Zone.
Please state the Wikimedia project your project will focus majorly on (e.g. Tyap Wikipedia, English Wikiquote, etc). It is advisable to focus on one Wikimedia project, but a maximum of two projects is allowed.

i will let the participants know through our community social media handles. eg WhatsApp etc.
4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead/assist the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals. (NOTE: all experienced Wikimedia editors MUST endorse and sign your proposal as proof of availability)

Participants have their gadgets such as phones, laptops and tablets.

This project will serve as a means to engage more participants and enhance proficiency in creating, editing and managing structured data, and also handling of notability entries
