Grants:Wikimedia UG Nigeria Grants/Wikimedia User Group Nigeria Community Support Fund/Wikimedia User Group Nigeria, Anambra Network - Joins WPWP Campaign 2026
Project summary
[edit]Briefly summarize your project proposal.
Adding Photos to Wikimedia articles help grasp the reader's attention, illustrate content, and make the article more instructive and engaging for readers. Hence, Wikimedia User Group Nigeria Anambra Networtk joins the WPWP CAMPAIGN 2026 to promote the use of digital media files collected from various Wikimedia photography contests/photowalks organized by the Wikimedia community. There are lots of images contributed through various photo contest and few of these photos have been used on Wikipedia article pages. This is a huge gap that this project aims at bridging, promoting the the use of files contributed to Wikimedia Common to increase reader's understanding of the article's subject matter.
