@BrillLyle: It looks like there haven't been any revisions to this proposal for a few months. I'm going to move it back to "draft" status for the time being. If you would like it to be considered for funding in the current round, you are welcome to update and resubmit your draft by next Tuesday, September 29. To submit, you just need to change you status back to "proposed."

If you would like to submit by next Tuesday, I recommend that you notify relevant communities and ask them review, endorse and give feedback on your proposal. You may also want to try to find tech Wikipedians you know who are willing to sign up as grantees, volunteers or advisors to support your project. Having some of these pieces in place before committee review will strengthen your proposal.

Please feel to contact me if you'd like to set up a Hangout to discuss your idea or ask questions about the proposal process.

April 12 Proposal Deadline: Reminder to change status to 'proposed'

[edit]

The deadline for Individual Engagement Grant (IEG) submissions this round is April 12th, 2016. To submit your proposal, you must (1) complete the proposal entirely, filling in all empty fields, and (2) change the status from "draft" to "proposed." As soon as you’re ready, you should begin to invite any communities affected by your project to provide feedback on your proposal talkpage. If you have any questions about finishing up or would like to brainstorm with us about your proposal, we're hosting a few IEG proposal help sessions this month in Google Hangouts:

I'm also happy to set up an individual session.

Warm regards,
