Report accepted, with thanks[edit]

Hi Planemad and Yug,

Thank you for submitting your report! We're accepting it today, and I'm also posting a bit of feedback here:

  • Thanks for including all the links - it is really helpful to have you gathering all your artifacts in one place (and the examples on Twitter are really lovely to see, for anyone who hasn't yet been following you there!).
  • Thanks also for being thoughtful about your challenges. Timelines and remote working are something that many project teams struggle with, and so I'm sure others will appreciate seeing you raise this issue as well. As you work towards your "commitment to stick to a regular update schedule" together, I wonder if your plan includes trying to schedule a standard time to talk together each week? Given that you've both been traveling a lot in recent months, this must often be difficult, but I do think that to work successfully together, remote teams often need to find a way to have at least one hour per week that they can talk together, have a common deadline, etc, and this tends to work best when it mostly happens at a fixed day and time. I'm also glad you'll have some more time in-person together coming up soon :)
  • Great to see both of the learning patterns you endorsed. Might you add this report as a reference/example to Grants:Learning_patterns/Project_roles, as you did for the second learning pattern you endorsed?
  • Given that you expect to spend your remaining budget as planned, we'll initiate the remaining disbursement soon.
  • Your grantee reflection is lovely and quite inspiring! Please tell me that either a photo or a map of this ideal environment for thinking, learning and making will be included in your final report? :)

Congratulations on a fruitful first 3 months, and wishing you lots of luck pulling all the threads together in time for Wikimania! I am sure it feels like a lot to do, but I have confidence that you guys can make it happen. Can't wait to see the website when it is live.
