I'm confused - are you talking about removing gendered terms (as well as terms concerning race and the like) from Wikipedia as a whole, from specific areas, or asking that users not use these terms? As far as Wikipedia articles and editors are concerned, this isn't going to happen because it's just unrealistic to try to remove mentions of an article topic's gender or race, especially if the person in question falls within a certain group. (IE, like how Barack Obama is a black man.) Removing these terms wouldn't be of much help to incoming readers either. Now as far as how editors identify, it's unfair to tell someone that they cannot use the gender pronouns or refer to their race while posting on Wikipedia and this could be seen as censorship by some editors.
Now if you're talking about not using gender or race in the general Wikipedia pages about policy, this is already in place and it's fairly rare to see gender or race terms used in a policy page. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 05:30, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
