Establish a communication and collaboration channel[edit]

I think that would be an extremely good idea in particular. Alleviate the pressure by proposing ideas and asking questions via email, with a way you can put forward grant ideas and ideally somebody within WMF employed to monitor that and give feedback. What I would suggest is that you set up a WMF Grants/Brainstorm where potential grant applicants can bring up their ideas for development and grants before submitting and advice directly given from WMF (and any other observers) on whether or not the ideas are feasible and something the WMF Grants would support. I'm aware of there being Drafts, but I definitely think some level of communication with WMF prior to making a proposal would help guide people to make better proposals and save time later on in ironing out issues.Dr. Blofeld (talk) 10:01, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
