Grants talk:PEG/WM HK/Financial Audit

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Perhaps I might save you the time of writing out this request: how much would the audit cost? Also: how did you comply with the audit duty in previous years? Asaf Bartov (WMF Grants) talk 01:20, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is disappointing there has been no response here, nor progress on the grant proposal draft, even as WMHK is seeking to be entrusted with $200K of movement funds. Asaf Bartov (WMF Grants) talk 22:51, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, the fact that WMHK has not responded in _both_ the grants page and here, means that they're probably terribly busy preparing for an international conference that's 7 days away. Please bear with them and give them a break until post-Wikimania. Abbasjnr (talk) 10:14, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, that's not at all what it meant, as was verified in person at Hong Kong. This seems to have been just abandoned, not put aside because of work on Wikimania. Indeed, resolving this alleged need for an audit via a grant was discussed with the WMHK team, in person in HK, as early as September 2012.
Additionally, it has been more than two months since Wikimania 2013, and not a single edit was made to it, so again, it's not organizing Wikimania that prevented this from moving forward. Asaf Bartov (WMF Grants) talk 20:09, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Moving from Draft to Withdrawn[edit]

Unfortunately, there has been no work on this draft proposal. I am moving it to "withdrawn". Alex Wang (WMF) (talk) 23:53, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
