Feedback from the Committee Support team

[edit]

Hello,

I'm sharing the following review of your report from the Committee Support team side, on behalf of the Affiliations Committee:

  • Criteria 2.1 Affiliate health & resilience [Q3]: Specific examples or case studies of impact needed.
  • Criteria 2.2 Diversity balance (especially gender) [Q3, Q6]: Breakdown of diversity in membership and leadership roles, particularly gender, is missing.
  • Criteria 2.3 Good governance & communication [Q14]: Documentation on governance practices, including decision-making and communication strategies, is lacking.
  • Criteria 3.3 Universal Code of Conduct compliance [Q14]: Documentation of UCoC compliance and any training sessions or feedback related to it is missing.
  • Criteria 4.3 Partnerships & collaborations [Q3, Q5]: Specific projects or content produced through these partnerships should be included.

Please make sure to address the following observations in your improvement to the report.

Thank you very much for this note and apologies for taking so long to respond. We were not aware that there were separate questions to our report as we adjusted to the single reporting system from GSF recipients who are also affiliates.
Here are some responses to the criteria addressed here:
Criteria 2.1 Affiliate health & resilience [Q3]: Wikimedia Community Malta has found that having a part-time employee has made a world of different to its health and resilience. We have made sure to capture this our subsequent grant application and requested for the time of the employee to be raised to two days a week from just 1 day.
Criteria 2.2 Diversity balance (especially gender) [Q3, Q6]: The diversity of our members varies, however, we have ensured gender balance across our board and staff, where two are male and two are female.
Criteria 3.3 Universal Code of Conduct compliance [Q14]: We have made a note to ensure that UCoC compliance is more visible. We will also explore training session on this in the near future.
Criteria 4.3 Partnerships & collaborations [Q3, Q5]: Reporting on specific projects and content produced through partnerships is being more systematically documented and presented in annual reports following the 2024 report.
Thanks again for your kind suggestions for the improvement of our reporting.
All the best -- ToniSant (talk) 17:34, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
