Congratulations! The Northern and Western Europe Regional Funds Committee has recommended your proposal for funding!
The Wikimedia Foundation has approved the committee's recommendation to partially fund your proposal for 862,537.76 EUR for the period 1st January 2025 - 31st December 2026.
Comments regarding this decision:
The amount above provides funding for the Y2 and Y3 plans for WMNL's 3-year multiyear proposal submitted in FY24. WM NL’s Y2 and Y3 proposal was awarded a partial annual amount of EUR 425,018.88 per annum, taking into account IMF inflation rates of 3.2%.
For 2025, an additional EUR 12,500.00 external funding support is provided to cover the compulsory self fund of the project connected to the Chapter’s work in the Caribbean, raising the total award in 2025 to EUR 437,518.88.
We look forward to hearing about the programs of WM NL in 2025 as well, and wish the Chapter the best with the implementation of the activities!
