[edit]Hello,
Thank you for submitting your report. As you may be aware, in light of the implementation of Wikimedia Foundation Affiliates Strategy, General Support Fund recipients are currently expected to submit one report instead of two (GSF final report and Affiliate report) to fulfill their reporting obligation as a recognized Wikimedia movement affiliate. The report is reviewed by both the Community Resources program officers and the Affiliations Committee (AffCom), the latter with regards to the new Affiliate Health Criteria.
I am sharing the following review of your report from the Committee Support team side, on behalf of AffCom:

- Criteria 3.3 Universal Code of Conduct compliance [Q14]: There is no direct mention of UCoC training or enforcement activities.
Please make sure to address the feedback in your improvement to the report on Fluxx within 14 (fourteen) days from this message.

- Universal Code of Conduct (Criteria 3.3)
We recognize and endorse the Universal Code of Conduct (UCoC) and Wikimedians of the Levant user group have its own Code of Conduct (CoC) since 10 July 2020. All members and project participants are expected to adhere to it. We also include the UCoC as part of our onboarding materials and emphasize respectful conduct in our events and online spaces. The enforcement process relies on self-reporting and peer accountability, and any serious concerns are referred to the relevant WMF channels. Our UCoC mentioned clearly: The Wikimedia Levant group also adheres to the general policies and rules adopted by the Wikimedia Foundation, which may include additional provisions not listed above. These include:
- Terms of Use
- Friendly Space Policy
- And any code of conduct adopted by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Code of Conduct page: Wikimedians of the Levant/Code of Conduct
- Membership Engagement (Criteria 4.1)
We regularly engage members via our Telegram group, different Wiki talk pages, and periodic online meetings. Meeting summaries are shared publicly as mentioned before, and we are working on improving documentation to publish these more consistently. Event announcements, project calls, and coordination are also shared through email and our social media channels.
Also we always encourage the young members; and the new members to join the events, then to coordinate events by being organizers assistants or by micro grants offered by WMLevant user group.
We appreciate the guidance and will continue to improve the transparency and public availability of our governance and UCoC-related documentation.
