Hello Kolobetsoo and Wikimedia Community User Group Botswana, thanks for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wikimedia Movement.

We have completed the review of your application and we made a decision to fund it in the amount of 27360 BWP (1985.55 USD).

While certain areas of the application are incomplete, we made this decision by considering that the Wikimedia Community User Group Botswana did not receive a General Support Fund and activities described are vital to keep the community active. Moreover, the project targets the gender gap on Wikimedia projects and there are no other communities in Botswana that have similar goals or projects.

We kindly ask you to complete the following questions with more information:

  • Question 7: Include more information about the content and target Wikimedia project. Bring some examples of the target articles.
  • Question 8: Add more information about the team members' roles and responsibilities. Indicate who will be the trainer(s) and what experience they have.
  • Question 18: Fill out Wikimedia project metrics in question 18.
