Thank you for submitting your application. After a thorough review of your proposal, we have made a decision not to fund your proposal. See the notes speaking to the rationale of the decision below;

  • It is great to see interest in continuing to develop further the Igala language.
  • However the project does not indicated robust project design that clearly speak to why the strategy on capacity building on projects such as Wiki Data and Wikimedia Commons are being brought in at this stage of language development on WIkipedia.
  • Also, feels like a touch and go approach while the strategies indicated need more long term approach.
  • The resources indicated do not align and some of the costs indicated like internet and prizing need a review.
