Discussion for Rapid Fund Proposal: Phase II - Eswatini History (R-RF-2601-21572)

Hello everyone,

I am opening this discussion for my Rapid Fund proposal, "Phase II: Documenting the Precolonial and Colonial History of the Kingdom of Eswatini"

This project is a direct continuation of my Phase I grant (R-RF-2508-19695), which successfully created and improved over 60 articles on Eswatini's precolonial history. You can review the detailed list of outputs here: read.

Phase II will extend this work into the colonial period (c. 1868-1920). The goal is to conduct on-site research at the Eswatini National Archives and the University of Eswatini Library to access unique, non-digitized collections (like the J.S.M. Matsebula papers). This will allow for the creation and significant improvement of an estimated 150+ Wikipedia articles, adding well-sourced depth to a currently underrepresented topic.

I welcome your thoughts, suggestions, or any insights on sources related to Eswatini's colonial history or this project.
