Rapid Fund Request : Not Funded
[edit]Hello , thanks for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wikimedia Movement.
We have completed the initial review of your application and we decided to not fund it. We made this decision considering several factors:
- Completeness of the grant application, including amount of AI generated content.
- Clear goals, objectives, and impact aligned with the requested budget, activities and metrics.
- On-wiki experience of the main applicant and the team.
- Completeness of the proposed budget, including alignment of the proposed expenses with local costs.
- Specific to this and other applications ; we continue to see a lack of experience. The applicants entire Wikimedia contributions centered around creating "WikiActivate" usergroup pages on Meta and Commons. We do not see other serious contributions to content projects to demonstrate capacity to lead project.
Additionally, we see the application proposal lacks direction. Trying to do so many things at once (contest, edit-a-thon, photowalk, updates reference materials in Wikipedia, Wikiquotes) without clear explanation of how - what informs the decision to contribute to this projects taking into account the experience of the applicant.
