I strongly support this proposal. I suggest if this program can invite Komunitas Kalamelayu in Tanjungpinang, Bintan island, which already involved in many activities in Wikimedia, such as in GLAM activities or in WikiTutur. Their community also interest on preserving Malay historical heritage. Maybe they also can help you to find native speakers for recording Riau Malay dialects. Ardzun (talk) 08:44, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

Update on your grant application

Thank you for your applicant. In this cycle, we received 3 rapid fund application from the Padang Community namely:

• WikiPurba (ID: R-RF-2505-19002)

• Wiki Adat Kepri: Melacak Jejak Melayu Bintan–Karimun (ID: R-RF-2506-19404);

• WikiJalajah (ID: R-RF-2506-19397)

To ensure that the community is able to collectively work together and support one another during the project implementation, we will be funding 1 of the 3 grant application. Hence, we will be moving your application to "DECLINED".
