Not funded
[edit]Hello Patketeku , thanks for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wikimedia Movement.
We have completed the initial review of your application and we decided to not fund it. We made this decision considering the following reasons:
- The main applicant is not the lead for this project but is serving as a university representative. The actual lead facilitator is User:StellaAgbley, who is currently ineligible for individual Rapid Funds due to her role as the signatory for the Wiki Loves Folklore & Feminism and Folklore 2025 General Support Fund. While we appreciate your interest in leading additional Wikimedia projects beyond your role in WLF, we believe there is a conflict of interest in User:StellaAgbley's involvement as lead facilitator for this grant.
- The proposal is ambitious, covering a wide range of activities—including workshops on digital skills, research, Wikidata editing, and competitions related to Wikidata, Feminism, and Folklore. For future grant requests, we recommend narrowing the scope and presenting a clearer, more focused plan.
- We also note that the main applicant does not appear to have sufficient recent activity on the target Wikimedia project.
