Hello Amuzujoe, thank you for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wiki Loves Africa campaign.

We have completed the review of your application and have decided to fund it in the amount of 39,757 GHS (2,500 USD). This decision was made with the following recommendations:

• The costs outlined in the application appear overinflated, and the estimated number of participants seems high. We encourage a more realistic and detailed budget in future applications.
• We recommend including at least one person from an established Wikimedia group in Ghana to join the team or serve as a mentor to strengthen collaboration and guidance.
• Organizers must recuse themselves from serving as jury members or winning prizes. The jury should be independent and must include at least one international, non-Ghanaian member. We also suggest involving a Wiki Loves Africa ambassador on the jury panel.
• Better documentation is required, and we encourage thorough and transparent reporting throughout the project.
