Hello Daniel236 and Wikimedians of Centrafrique, thank you for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wiki Loves Africa campaign.

We have completed the review of your application and have decided to fund it in the amount of 1347590 XOF (2,150 USD). This decision was made with the following recommendations:

• The application details were considered somewhat light and could benefit from more depth and specificity in future submissions.
• Participation numbers were deemed exaggerated compared to past evidence of participation (including in Wiki Loves Earth). As a result, the budget was reduced to reflect this, particularly with adjustments to food costs.
• The review team strongly encourages the group to attend the training on copyright and seek support from the French ambassadors to gain a better understanding of license requirements.

It is requested that the lead delete recently uploaded images that are clearly copyright violations (e.g. copies from Facebook/Twitter).

• Wiki Loves Africa 2025 campaign will run from March 1st 2025 to April 30th 2025. To ensure alignment, kindly reset your project timeline to start on or before March 1st 2025 and end on or after April 30th 2025.
