Hello Shoodho and Wikimedia Community Usergroup Botswana, thank you for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wiki Loves Africa campaign. We have completed the review of your application and have decided to fund it in the amount of 32040 BWP (2,400 USD). This decision was made with the following recommendations:

• The proposed plan could be more ambitious by extending activities beyond Gaborone to agricultural and rural areas, aligning more closely with the theme.
• We suggest reallocating some of the budget away from design and social media advertising to focus on fostering collaboration with professional and amateur photography groups, as well as theme-related communities.
• Engaging professional photographers and incorporating training sessions for photographers into the project plan would enhance its impact and alignment with campaign goals.
• The application details were found to be lacking. Given the applicant's experience, we recommend investing more effort into providing detailed and comprehensive proposals in the future.
• Wiki Loves Africa 2025 campaign will run from March 1st 2025 to April 30th 2025. To ensure alignment, kindly reset your project timeline to start on or before March 1st 2025 and end on or after April 30th 2025.
