I fully endorse the Wiki Loves Women in Maiduguri project as it is vital in promoting the representation of women in the Wikimedia movement. Initiatives aimed at empowering women, particularly in Maiduguri, contribute significantly to bridging the gender gap in knowledge sharing. I believe this project will have a positive impact on the community and enhance content about women in Hausa and other languages.

I wholeheartedly endorse the Wiki Loves Women initiative in Maiduguri. This project is a vital step towards amplifying the voices and stories of women, particularly in a region where representation and documentation of women's contributions are often overlooked. By encouraging participation in creating articles, and editing, and sharing knowledge about women on Wikimedia projects like Wikipedia, this initiative empowers individuals and communities to bridge gender gaps in knowledge sharing.Abubakar Kaddi (talk) 20:54, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Rapid Fund Request : Not Funded

[edit]

Hello, thank you for submitting your Rapid Fund request.

We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the Wikimedia Movement. We have completed the initial review of your application and we decided to not fund it. It was unclear who would participate in your programs and the outreach approach you would use to find the right participants and especially given that your  target audience is underrepresented communities.

Please work with local mini-grant programs to support a low scale - low cost scoped project.
