- a) See comments at question 1. Could you confirm which wikiprojects you will be contributing to? Please list all of them in the metrics section.
- We will be contributing to Wiktionary as part of this project. The focus of our contribution is to enrich the platform with both visual and textual content that supports language documentation and understanding. In terms of metrics, the project targets a total of 250 uploads, consisting of pictures and words. Additionally, the project aims to involve 29 participants who will contribute collaboratively to achieve these outcomes.
- b) See comments at question 4. Could you clarify if the budget requested for the camera is for rental or purchase? Please note that we do not provide funding for equipment for individual projects.
- We have decided to rent two cameras for our project.
- c) See comments at question 4. Could you provide more details on the symposium and how it fits into your project timeline?
- A university symposium will be held to present the outcomes of the Wiktionary and Wikimedia Commons activities. A university symposium is an academic event where students, faculty, and invited guests come together to showcase research, projects, and creative works while engaging in discussion and knowledge exchange. As part of the symposium, the project team will prepare a dedicated booth to display the vocabulary entries contributed to Wiktionary and the photographs uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. To attract students and lecturers to the booth, interactive games with small gifts will be organized, encouraging participation and engagement with the project materials. The symposium aims to share project outputs, receive feedback, promote awareness of indigenous knowledge preservation, and recognize the contributions of participants. By combining the booth, interactive activities, and presentations, the project ensures its outcomes are effectively showcased to the wider university community, fostering both academic learning and long-term engagement.
- d) See comments at question 4. Please review your budget to see if there is a need to revise your budget (i.e. change equipment purchase to rental and check if additional budget is needed for regular meeting with the community).
