Report accepted[edit]

Hi, Mediation Verticale, thank you for submitting this final report and your expense documentation. I have reviewed and accepted both. Congratulations, this grant is now complete!

  1. Congratulations on the positive outcomes of this grant! Even though you did not achieve all your goals, it seems like the participants were very engaged and it is exciting that some of them have expressed interest in more edit-a-thons. And working with the library is a wonderful way to capture people who are more likely to be interested in Wikipedia!
  2. It also sounds like by running this event you learned about what size event is right for the space you have available at the Multicultural Library Studio. Not every event has to be large; the most important thing is that it's a positive, engaging, and productive experience for the participants. Knowing that in the future you need to limit participation to 15 people will help ensure that everyone gets the most from the event that they can.
  3. You identified as one possible problem competition from another Art+Feminism event in Montreal. Would there be some way in the future to collaborate with the other event to recruit participants together? Or would it be better to keep your event separate, even if it means you might not attract as many participants?

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this grant, and for sharing what you learned with WMF and the community. We welcome any additional information you'd like to share with us, at any point!
