Hi Ferdinand IF99, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. We are glad that the Burundi Wikimedia community will join the WPWP campaign. I have some questions for you:

  • In the Probox (right sidebar) could you please add the details of a secondary contact for the Wikimedia User Group Burundi, who will also be the second signatory for the grant agreement?
  • Have you notified the members of Wikimedia User Group Burundi about this proposal? Additionally, have you already notified your community through the internal mailing list?
  • I noticed that you don’t have any editing experience on Wikimedia projects․ How do you plan to run a Wikimedia event without having any experience? How will you train the participants and who will support you with Wikipedia-related tasks?
  • Does Gilbert Ndihokubwayo have a Wikimedia username? Could you please provide it?
  • Since you are planning to run in person activities, please respond to question #6 and complete the Risk assessment form if needed.
  • The proposed budget seems fine. My only request is to reduce the number of T-shirts from 20 to 10, offering them only to event leaders and top contributors. Please update the total requested budget after making the changes.

Bonsoir,DSaroyan (WMF) je vous remercie beaucoup pour cette discussion pour wpwp.

  • On a discute avec les membres de wikimedia user groupe a propos de cette proposition d'organiser la campagne wpwp au Burundi et ils m'ont donne l'accord,on a aussi commencer a partager les messages a la population de notre communaute pour leur parler de wpwp, on a utilise whatsapp
  • je me suis entretenu avec User:Ndahiro derrick le fondateur de wikimedia user groupe Rwanda et il nous a promis de nous aider
  • Oui Gilbert a un nom d'utilisateur wikimedia, c'est User:Gilbert Ndihokubwayo
  • On aura pas de risk parce que dans chaque activites on va pas depasser 10 perssonnes
  • Pour le budget je vais modifier et je vais publier le nouvel total
