Hello Gwanki, thanks for submitting this Rapid Fund application. We have reviewed it and we have a few requests:

  • Given the proposed amount of resources for the invited speakers, we won't fund this expense. My recommendation is to find local experts or ask these people to join the sessions online. Please remove the air travel expenses and all related accommodation/transportation expenses.
  • Please reduce the prize budget to 350 USD.
  • After making these changes, please update the total requested budget in NGN and USD. Could you please update the formatting of the amount in USD too?
  • Did you notify the Hausa community that you will be leading the WikiForHumanRights this year? How?

Hello DSaroyan (WMF), thanks for review my Rapid Grant. Here are my responses
  • As your recommendation, I'll find local experts and I've removed the air travel and accommodations expenses.
  • I also reduce the prize budgets to 350 USD.
