Hi Hadassahlove, thanks again for submitting this comprehensive Rapid Grant request. We appreciate your efforts to follow up the outcomes of the WikiForHumanRights on LGBT in Nigeria project and to run another human rights related contest in Nigeria! I have reviewed your grant proposal and have a few requests and questions:

  • How many jury members do you plan to invite? If known, could you please share their Wikimedia usernames?
  • We think that the prize budget is high. Kindly reduce it to 400 USD.
  • Similarly, we would like to request to reduce the Social media promotion & banner design expenses. We recommend reducing them to 400 USD (roughly, 200 USD for Social media promotion and 200 USD for banner design).

Thank you DSaroyan (WMF) for the review and also for the kind words. Here are my responses:

  • The plan is to have about 3 to 4 jurors; which will be led and coordinated by Kaizenify since he is experienced enough, he will then constitutive and select the other 2 or 3 jurors.
  • Though the budget price is proportional to the value of items I intend to get but since this is a common standard practice; I have reduced it to reflect $400.
  • I have also reduced the social media promotion and banner design to $400.
