Hi Houss 2020, thanks for submitting this final report. We appreciate the efforts you’ve put into organizing and running this celebration in Tunisia. We commend you for meeting all initial targets and thank you for your contributions to the Wikimedia Movement. I’m glad to accept the final report and expense documents for this project with the following comments and questions:

  • In the report, you mentioned that the JCI organization supported you in running this project. Could you please provide more details about this partnership? How did you contact them and why did they support you?
  • How did you reach out to the event participants? Did any of the newcomers continue contribution to Wikimedia projects after the events?
  • Did you have any experienced editors?
  • You mentioned that you organized five follow-up workshops after the celebration. Could you please share some information about these workshops?

First of all, I am really sorry for the delay,I had other commitments and was very busy organizing Wiki Loves Earth event in Tunisia.
About your comments and questions:
  • As a member of Junior Chamber International ,We collaborate with local organization of Metlaoui and regional organizations, we presented for them the Wikimedia activities and they was very happy to collaborate with us to celebrate this event, other JCI local organizations in Tunisia want to collaborate with us for more Wikimedia activities such as workshops, photo-walks and meet ups.
  • We reach out the event participants with the collaboration between JCI Metlaoui and other regional JCI organizations. One workshop wasn't enough for the participants to learn about Wikipedia editing.
  • Some participants have already some knowledge about Wikipedia that helps me organizing the workshops.
  • We have organized five workshops before the celebration and no follow-up workshops as mentioned in the grant details.
