Comments from I JethroBT (WMF)[edit]

@Filipinayzd: Hello Irvin. Unfortunately, I have had to mark this proposal as "not funded". Rapid Grants has not been staffed sufficiently with respect to the load of proposals we have been receiving from individuals, groups, and affiliates across the movement, particularly during the 2018-2019. We have therefore unable to review and process both proposals and reports in a timely and complete manner. At the same time, the comment above is correct, and several past reports were long overdue. Please remember to make extension requests to rapidgrants(_AT_) when additional time is needed, before the due date of your reports. I have gone ahead and approved the reports mentioned above here, since they have all been submitted and completed since the above comment was made last October. Please let me know if you have any questions. I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 03:53, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 winner's prize[edit]

Thank you for reviewing and approving the pending reports. I would like to seek advise on how we could award the winners in Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 PH their prizes. --Filipinayzd (talk) 05:51, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Filipinayzd: Unfortunately, I don't have any recommendations to provide here concerning our own grant programs. We are not able to retroactively fund events, and you were not eligible for funding at the time this application was made due to overdue grant reports. In the future, before running new programs, incurring expenses, and providing specific assurances around prizes, it is important to wait until you have:
  • completed any overdue reports and,
  • signed a grant agreement
There are some movement affiliates who provide grants, but these are generally region-specific, and grants are issued before events are run for the purposes of review, not after-the-fact. I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 17:33, 6 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
